We never paid much attention to pigeons until two newborn ones fell out of a tree last year. We raised them at home and it became one of the most special experiences of our lives. It's fair to say we loved them and we're pretty sure they loved us too. Now we're pigeon obsessed. They're smart and affectionate and playful companions.
