Primitive 19th Century Painted Stool with Duck Carving

A wonderfully primitive 19th Century stool in its original green paint. This one is a bit special because someone has carved a naive folk art bird into the top; possibly a duck. Things like this really give an insight into an objects life and previous owners. A great little thing.
