A beautiful and highly sculptural 19th Century elm and ash Cutlers stool with added backrest. This is a remarkable object with a unique story to tell. Not only does this give an insight into the life of this individual object but also illustrates an earlier history of the development of stools into chairs. The resulting chair is a striking object, with fantastic colour and patina, and a beautiful and unusual shape.
