Edmontosaurus annectens
45cm x 28cm x 25cm

A superb and unusually complete fossilised Edmontosaurus skull. The most famous of the duck-billed dinosaurs, Edmontosaurus were herbivores who roamed in packs, and lived alongside Triceratops and the Tyrannosaurus Rex in the Late Cretaceous period (68 -66 million years ago). They could reach 13 metres and weigh up to 3.5 tons, and were amongst the last dinosaurs to roam the earth before the mass extinction event 65 million years ago. A similar specimen can be found in The Smithsonian Museum in Washington. A truly extraordinary object.
